Verticutting is a process by which the grass plants are sliced vertically to promote lateral movement of bentgrass. By promoting lateral movement, any weak or thin areas will fill in more quickly than if left alone. This process is augmented with seed, fertilizer, warm temperatures (without frost), and water. Our verticutters mount onto one of the greens triplex mowers, so it looks very similar to mowing greens.
